Social activities: Turkish occupation targets women to break their free will

Yesterday, a drone of the Turkish occupation army targeted the co-chair of the Qamishlo Canton Council, Yusra Darwish, the co-chairman of the council Lyman Shweish, and member of the council Furat Touma.

Kongra Star in the district of Tal Koçer made a statement in front of its center in the district; Condemning the attack of the Turkish occupation that targeted the co-chair of the Qamishlo Canton Council, Yusra Darwish, the co-chairman of the council, Lyman Shweish, and the council member, Furat Touma.

The statement was read by Ola Hammoud Mufleh, the member of Justice Committee in  Kongra Star

The statement emphasized that the attacks of the barbaric Turkish occupation that targeted administrators in the Qamishlo Canton Council is evidence of its hostile approach to the peoples' revolution and its democratic project, in the person of women and breaking their free will.

Raqqa

For its part, the Women's Office in civil society organizations made a statement to the public opinion, in the presence of dozens of women and members of the office and civil institutions in Raqqa.

The statement, which was read by the member of the office, Fatima Al-Ahmad, paid tribute to everyone who carried the banner of peace, and said: "Stop killing, stop silence, stop killing the woman who defends her land, her people, and her cause."

The statement added, "Women have become the primary target of the Turkish occupation state's air force and its mercenaries, yesterday Hevrin and then Zahra, and today the martyr Yusra Darwish and her companions, the history repeats itself with the crimes of Turkish fascism."

It called on humanitarian and human rights organizations concerned with women's rights to put an end to these inhumane and immoral practices and work to find a solution to the Syrian crisis.

Tel Hamis

For its part, the Tel Hamis district council of Qamishlo canton made a statement, in the presence of members of civil institutions and political parties, in front of the Kongra Star building in the center of the district.

The statement was read by the member of Kongra Star in Tel Hamis district, Adhari Al-Faihan.

The statement stressed that "the policy of the Turkish occupation state has become clear, and its aim is to strike the Autonomous Administration project, which is based on serving the components and consolidating security and stability in the region."

The statement continued, "The Turkish occupation's escalation came after the Autonomous Administration announced the start of trial of ISIS mercenaries.

The statement stressed the need to raise the pace of struggle and preserve the gains made in the region, until victory is achieved and all occupied territories are liberated.
