People of Qamishlo: We will take our precautions against Turkish attacks

The people of Qamishlo expressed their condemnation of the genocide and occupation attacks launched by the Turkish occupation state, and made it clear that they would strengthen self-defense procedures in the face of these attacks.

Yesterday (June 20), an armed drone of the Turkish occupation targeted a car of the Qamishlo Canton Council, on the road between Tirbspî and Qamishlo and near the village of Tal Shair, which resulted in the martyrdom of the co-chair of the Qamishlo Canton Council, Yousra Darwish, and the co-chair of the council, Lyman Shuish. And their driver, Furat Touma, in addition to the injury of the co-chair of the council, Gabi Shimon.

The people of Qamishlo spoke to ANHA agency about this issue.

Badriya Hesso said: "The Turkish state attacks us, and bombs neighborhoods, homes, people's properties, and their cars. We will take our precautions in the face of the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and defend ourselves."

Barakat said: "The Turkish occupation state seeks to eliminate the Kurds daily and by various methods. On the one hand, it cuts off water from them, imposes a siege on them, and uses its mercenaries against them and targets the citizens. In addition to the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan is tightening more day after day. The attacks are launched in the context of attempts to exterminate, but our will is strong, and it can never be broken."

While the citizen Halima Hajji said: "We strongly condemn the forces that support the attacks of the Turkish occupation state. Human rights organizations and the forces that claim to defend peace have not taken any position. The people must take a firm stance regarding the occupation attacks."
