Russia and Damascus government bombes Idlib before the start of Astana talks

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Russian warplanes launched raids in the vicinity of the city of Idlib, in conjunction with missile strikes launched by the Damascus government forces on the area, befor the start of the Astana talks on Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the Russian warplanes launched 4 air raids, targeting the vicinity of the city of Idlib from the northern side, where violent explosions resulting from the raids were heard in the area, amid a state of panic that affected civilians, without information on human losses until the moment.

According to the Observatory, a number of villages and towns in the Jabal al-Zawiya area in the southern countryside of Idlib were subjected to artillery shelling coming from the Damascus government forces stationed in the neighboring areas within the so-called "De-escalation" area, and this coincided with an intense flight of Russian drone over the area.

This comes before the start of the Astana talks today, which will continue until tomorrow, when it is expected to discuss the normalization between Damascus and the Turkish occupation.
