​​​​​​​​​​​​​ 2 demonstrations against isolation on the leader in Qamishlo's districts

Condemning the Turkish occupation's attacks on the regions of NE Syria, targeting citizens and imposing policies of isolation and torture against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, hundreds of people from the city of Derik and its villages demonistrated.

Members of civil institutions and councils, the Council of Martyrs' Families, representatives of political parties, members of Kongra Star, the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women's Union participated in the demonstration.

The demonstration started from Al-Huriya Square, amidst the demonstrators carrying banners reading "There is no life without the leader", "Freedom for the leader Ocalan", "The freedom of the leader Apo is the freedom of the people", and they roamed the city's neighborhoods amid chanting slogans saluting the resistance of the leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali.

Upon their arrival at the central market, they stood a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs. Then, the administrator of the Kongra Star in Derik, Banfsh Abdo, delivered a speech in which she denounced the conspiracies targeting the will of the peoples pursued by the Turkish occupation by tightening the isolation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and escalating attacks on the region.

And called on all segments of society to strengthen solidarity in the face of the extermination plans.

Amuda

In the same context, the Amuda district' people and its villages went out in a demonstration, which started from the Free Woman Roundabout, east of Amuda, in which the components of the district including Kurds, Arabs, and Syriacs participated, in addition to representatives of civil councils and institutions.

The demonstrators raised banners condemning isolation, demanding the achievement of physical freedom of leader Ocalan, and denouncing the attacks of the Turkish occupation against the region.

The demonstrators stopped in front of the People's Municipality building in the center of Amuda, and after standing a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, the co-chair of the Qamishlo Canton Council, Yusra Malla Nayef, delivered a speech in which she saluted the resistance of leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali prison, and denounced the isolation imposed on him.

And she indicated, "Thanks to the leader's resistance and his philosophy, the peoples of the region resisted the extermination policies pursued by the capitalist system, and thanks to him, they became owners of a cause and gains".

And she stressed, "We will continue to stand with the leader Ocalan by organizing events until his physical freedom is achieved".
