 The committee pursuant to Jeddah Consultative Meeting, composed of Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Iraq, is scheduled to meet tomorrow, Monday, in the Jordanian capital, Amman.  To discuss  the Syrian crisis.

The official spokesman and director of the Public Diplomacy Department at the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Abu Zaid, stated that Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will travel this evening to the Jordanian capital, Amman;  To participate in the meeting of the committee that composed of Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Iraq about Syria tomorrow, Monday.

The committee is scheduled to discuss: "Means of dealing with the Syrian crisis, including strengthening the solidarity of Arab countries with the Syrian people in overcoming their ordeal."  According to what was reported by the Egyptian Alshrq al-awset News Agency.

It is noteworthy that the committee pursuant to the consultative meeting of the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, Egypt, Jordan and Iraq, which was previously held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on April 14; To discuss ways to enhance joint Arab action.

Informed sources had previously suggested the formation of an Arab committee at the Amman meeting, which the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Iraq, Egypt and Jordan agreed to hold after Eid al-Fitr, to discuss "a political solution to the Syrian crisis internally, regionally and internationally."

And the Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman al-Safadi, announced at the beginning of this year the existence of a Jordanian initiative to find a “political solution” to the Syrian crisis.  To solve the crisis and its security and political repercussions.
