Syrian party supports AANES’ initiative and describes it as "clear patriotism"
A political party from within Syria supported the initiative of the Autonomous Administration and described it as a clear national initiative, calling on everyone to work and interact with it and sit quickly at a round table of dialogue.
On the 18th of April, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria launched an initiative to solve the Syrian crisis politically, consisting of 9 items.
The initiative stresses the necessity of recognizing the privacy and rights of all Syrian components, whose neglect was one of the causes of the Syrian crisis. It is known that each component has its own specificities and the right to citizenship and equality.
It contributes to the development of values and democracy and the establishment of a pluralistic, decentralized, democratic political administration system that preserves the rights of everyone without exception.
The Autonomous Administration has expressed its willingness to embrace those who have been displaced and emigrated outside the country, within its capabilities. To end human suffering, and to preserve the unity and integrity of Syria, in a way that does not contradict Security Council Resolution (2,254).
"An initiative with clear national dimensions"
A member of the Political Bureau of the Social Democratic Party, Nidal Fandi, confirms that it is an initiative with clear national dimensions. Because it affirmed the unity of Syria, land and people, and that the country's bounties are for all Syrians, and the need for dialogue and the involvement of everyone in it, so the initiative received the support of the Social Democratic Party.
"We were briefed on the initiative and declared our support for it."
And about whether the Autonomous Administration had contacted them about the initiative, Nidal Fandi explains, "We as a party did not communicate with us directly, but we learned about the initiative through the media and declared our support for it, and the party members were instructed to do so in an expanded meeting in Latakia and explained its dimensions."

One of the most important things that the Autonomous Administration’s initiative was based on was preserving the unity of the Syrian lands and its belief that the problems that Syria is experiencing can only be solved within the framework of the country’s unity, and confirmed that they are ready to meet the Damascus government and dialogue with it and with all Syrian parties in order to consult and discuss to present initiatives and find solution to the country's crisis.
Nidal Fandi called on all parties in Syria to interact positively with the initiative, and said: "The Syrian government is an essential party to the success of the initiative."
"Sit down at a round table."
A member of the Political Bureau of the Social Democratic Party, Nidal Fandi, said that what is required of the Syrian national forces is to see the scale of the catastrophe and to sit quickly at a round table to end the country's crisis.
In its initiative, the Autonomous Administration called on the Arab countries, the United Nations and all international forces active in the Syrian issue, to play a positive and effective role that contributes to the search for a common solution with the Syrian government, the Autonomous Administration and the national democratic forces.
