The Syrian Observatory said that Israeli missiles destroyed an ammunition depot belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah at the Dabaa military airport in the countryside of Homs.

An agency affiliated with the Damascus government quoted a military source as saying that "the Syrian air defenses intercepted an Israeli missile attack in the vicinity of the city of Homs in the early hours of Saturday morning and shot down some of them."

The source added that the attack resulted in the injury of three civilians and material damage.

For its part, the Syrian Observatory said that Israeli missiles destroyed an ammunition depot belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah at the Dabaa military airport in the countryside of Homs.

These strikes come before the Iranian president's visit to Syria, and hours after the Iranian foreign minister was in Maroun al-Ras on the Lebanese-Israeli border.

It is noteworthy that Israel targeted Dabaa airport in Homs governorate for the second time this April. On April 2, Israeli missiles targeted military sites for both Damascus forces and pro-Iranian groups in Homs, where a weapons store belonging to Hezbollah was destroyed, in the area of Dabaa military airport in the countryside. Western Homs, and the strikes also destroyed an air defense battery in the scientific research area in the western countryside of Homs.
