​​​​​​​Suzdar Avista congratulates the Yazidis on Red Wednesday

Today, the Yazidi community celebrates Red Wednesday, and on this occasion, a member of the General Presidency Council of the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK), Suzdar Avista, sent an audio message to the celebrants in Şengal.

In her message, she said, "I congratulate the entire Yazidi community on Red Wednesday, the message of spring and the beauty of the year. I respectfully remember all the martyrs of the struggle for freedom and Êzdîxan in the person of Commander Pîr Çeko, Agir Geverî and Şêrzad. We will fulfill their dreams, with a free and democratic Êzdîxan."

I congratulate all the families of the martyrs on this holiday. Congratulations to all the people of Kurdistan and leader “APO”. This year, Red Wednesday and Ramadan met, which is of great value. Our people receive the two holidays together, as I congratulate the Islamic world. The message of peoples' solidarity is the holidays.

Today, we are witnessing various attacks on our society from many sides. They are promoting espionage in the society, and they want to exterminate this society with the help of some external forces, especially the Miran family in a firm person. I invite the Spiritual Council, especially Baba Sheikh, to beware of these tricks. If the Yezidi Spiritual Council is public, it must protect the interests of the Yezidi community. Baba Sheikh is the father of all Yazidis, not a party.

They want to destroy this sacred will and value that appeared in Êzdîxan, the genocide and massacres that were committed against the Yezidis, which 12 countries recognized as genocide, there are some countries that want to oppose this recognition through political parties.

The statement that was issued from Şengal was blessed. They must wake up. First of all, our society, especially the religious people in Şengal and Êzdîxan, must move away from these tricks anymore and strengthen their solidarity.

As you know, we are going through a very historical period. The month of April is full of sacred values from beginning to end. April 4th was the birthday of leader “APO” and, in his person, the birthday of all the people, cultures and beliefs whose roots live on.

Leader APO has done his work in front of all peoples, and he has done a great job for our Yazidi community. On the feast of Yazda in 1998, the congratulatory message of leader APO says the following: “I belong to you more than anyone else, I am your son, I am at your service.” Leader APO saw himself as a worker for the freedom of society, the freedom of women, and he is fighting for it.

Leader APO passes today, in extreme isolation, more than anyone else, it is the responsibility of the Yazidi community to lead the movement for the physical freedom of Leader Apo in all areas of life "It is time for freedom", the struggle for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan must be intensified. Leader APO's thoughts and philosophy have today become the basis for unity, solidarity, and self-reconstruction in the Yazidi community.
