​​​​​​​Autonomous Administration in Şengal holds its fifth conference

With the aim of discussing the internal system and rebuilding the structure of the Autonomous Administration of Şengal, the activities of the Fifth Conference of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Şengal began this morning.

Representatives of the institutions and centers of the Autonomous Administration, clerics, forces and political parties in Şengal, 350 delegates and 100 guests from the Nineveh Plain, Sulaymaniyah, Baghdad and Europe will participate in the conference, which will be held in Sinuni district.

The conference, which will last for one day, began by welcoming the guests and remembering the martyrs of Şengal, then the co-chair of the Executive Council of Şengal, Hesso Ibrahim, delivered the opening speech of the conference.

Hesso Ibrahim confirmed that from the fourth conference until the new conference, a great struggle was presented to protect and develop the Autonomous Administration, and he said: “In the past stages, many honorable people, each of whom was like the rocks of the Şengal Mountains, were attacked by the enemy. The enemy targeted the leadership and administration in The Yazidi community, Saeed Hassan, and the co-chair of the Executive Council of Şengal, Marwan Badl (Dijwar Fakir).

And Ibrahim continued, "With these attacks, they wanted to break the will of the Yazidi community, and after these attacks, the enemy targeted comrade Anwar and comrade Azad, and in the Sununi People's Assembly, comrade Ibrahim and the Yazidi child Salah were martyred, and recently our brave leader Bir Jakko and Aker Jafri joined the convoy of martyrs, as did Commander Sherzad, one of The founders of Asayîşa Êzidxanê, to the convoy of martyrs, and we remember all those comrades who participated in the fourth conference and salute their memory.

“The resistance resisted the October 9 agreement.”

Hesso Ibrahim drew attention to the October 9 agreement, which was signed in cooperation with the Turkish state, the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Al-Kazemi government, and continued: “By a decision under the name of law, they wanted to impose this decision on us, and on this basis there were many attacks, and the mothers stood Women, the elderly, the entire Yazidi community and the Arab people to block the way for this agreement.

“We will strengthen our leadership and develop Democratic Autonomous-Administration.”

In the conclusion of his speech, Hesso Ibrahim stated that the Autonomous Administration system of Şengal achieved a lot of hard work and struggle, and he ended his speech by saying: “We have revived the Autonomous Administration until today, and after today we will also revive it, and with the convening of this conference, we want to strengthen our leadership and take new and strong steps, with the head of the Yazidi year and the beginning of the new year, we will follow our faith until our last breath, and none of us will stop working on this path.”
