YPJ: 3 female fighters martyred in helicopters crash

YPJ's General Command of revealed the record of 3 female fighters during a statement which read, "We made great sacrifices to preserve all the values of people's freedom, and every comrade of our martyrs sacrificed their lives for the sake of people's freedom, and fought an unparalleled struggle to achieve this goal. Our comrade Deidar - with her guerrilla spirit and honest stance - successfully performed all her revolutionary tasks.

Comrade Deidar joined the ranks of freedom when ISIS attacked Kobani to protect the people from genocide, and participated in all the campaigns that were launched against ISIS, from the historical resistance of Kobani to the Baghouz campaign with the spirit of guerrillas and the position of a pioneering woman.

Comrade Deidar had a great will and determination to liberate every inch of the homeland, and she did not move away from the battle fronts even though she was wounded.

Our comrades, Rogenk and Farashin, also joined the ranks of freedom, when they were in the spring of their youth.

 Comrade Rognek, as a young woman, joined the ranks of freedom to fight the occupation of Afrin, and she developed intellectually and militarily in a very short period, defending the values of freedom, until the last moment of her life.

As for our comrade Farashin, she grew up in a patriotic family from Dêrik, she devoted every moment of her life to serve the gains of the revolution, and with her position in the ranks of the counter-terrorism units, she became with a deep understanding of the professionalism of fighting for freedom.

We in the Women's Protection Units offer our condolences to the families of our comrades and to our entire national people, and we renew our pledge to escalate the struggle and follow in the footsteps of the martyrs.
