​​​​​​​9 women arrested in Wan, Bakur Kurdistan

As part of the politics annihilation campaign pursued by the Turkish occupation state against Kurdish politicians, male and female, in Bakur (North of Kurdistan), the Turkish police arrested 9 women this morning.

According to the ANF news agency, those arrested are "the spokesperson for the left-wing Green Party in Wan, Gonul Uzunay, and the co-chair of the Association for the Support and Assistance of Families of the Missing in the Cradle of Civilization (MEBYA-DER) in Wan, Khanem Kaya, and a member of the Mothers of Peace, Khajy Parshtran, and co-chair of the Sarhad Association for Migration Monitoring (GOÇDER), Gulsheen kort.

As well as the co-chair of the Association for Support and Assistance of the Families of Detainees (TUHAY-DER) in Wan, Adiba Babur, and the mayor of Saray, Jaziya Doman, and a member of the Peoples’ Democratic Party in the Municipal Council of Armoush Road, Ozlam Toji, and two members of the Free Women’s Movement ( TJA) Zeyneb Kaya and Songul Lashk".

The authorities didn't allow the lawyers to meet their clients.
