The people of NE Syria, at 11:00 this morning, stood 5 minutes of silence in remembrance of the martyrs of Halabça massacre, which claimed the lives of nearly 5,000 Kurds in south of Kurdistan.

Today, March 16, marks the 35th anniversary of Halabça massacre, which claimed the lives of nearly 5,000 kurds, in addition to injuring thousands with permanent disabilities in south of Kurdistan.

And in honor and remembrance of the martyrs of Halabça massacre , who were martyred by chemical weapons in 1988 at the hands of Saddam Hussein's regime; The people of north and east Syria stood 5 minutes of silence, amid the suspension of public life, the closure of shops, and the suspension of traffic in all cities and districts of NE Syria.
