Dozens of members of civil institutions, political parties and military forces gathered in the shrine of martyrs, west of Tel Hamis, to remember the martyrs of the massacre and the March 12 uprising in Qamishlo.

The memorial ceremony began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then the joint head of the Democratic Union Party in the Tel Hamis district, Ghaleb Al -Saadoun, gave a speech in which he recalled the martyrs of the massacre and the March 12 uprising in particular, and the martyrs of freedom in NE Syria in general, and said: "The March 12 uprising is the real uprising that pave the revolution in NE Syria, which has achieved the dignity we aspire to.

He continued: "Through the uprising, the Baathist regime revealed the truth of the racism that it exercises against the Kurdish people, and it was not satisfied with killing the Kurdish youths, but rather increased its hatred and sowing the plots between the Arab and Kurdish peoples to dismantle the fabric of the two people ".

Al-Saadoun emphasized the failure of all the plans that are being hatched against the people of NE Syria and said: “Today all the Arab, Kurdish and Syriac peoples and the gathering of coexistence sects in NE Syria have become fully aware of the plans and repressive policies. "

He concluded his speech by saying: "We are the people of North and East Syria can thwart the plans of the Baathist regime and the Turkish regime, which is similar to the Baathist regime with all barbaric brutal methods, and we will be mortgaged and solid towards the forces seeking to thwart the democratic nation project."
