PADÊ condemns Turkish attacks on Şengal

On Wednesday, PADÊ's Media Center issued a statement to the public, condemning the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on Şengal.

At the beginning of its statement, the party denounced in the strongest terms the Turkish occupation state's "repeated daily bombing and attacks on civilians and residential areas in Sinjar, which are based on false arguments and constitute a flagrant violation of all international covenants and norms."

It added, "These attacks led to the martyrdom of heroes who vowed themselves for the sake of their people and cause, whereas the Iraqi government is unable to take any action to stop these cowardly attacks."

The party said that the Turkish attacks constitute a violation of the sovereignty and unity of Iraq, and which would destabilize the stability and security of the region and prevent the return of the displaced.

It concluded by saying, "We extend our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of the martyrs, and we bow in honor to our heroic martyrs."
