​​​​​​​Iraqi govt decides to form committee on Turkey's use of chemical weapons against Guerrilla

The Office of the Prime Minister called  the Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces to form a joint committee between the Government of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government; To investigate if the Turkish army use highly explosive phosphorous materials and toxic gases in its attacks on southern Kurdistan.

Parliamentarian in the Iraqi Representatives Council, Soran Omar, published the text of a decision issued by the Iraqi Council of Ministers; To form a committee for fact finding about the use of internationally banned chemical weapons by the Turkish occupation state against Guerrilla sites in the People Defense Areas

The decision, according to the document published by the parliamentarian, Soran Omar, stated: "Formation of a joint committee between the Central Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government for fact finding about the Turkish army' use of highly explosive phosphorous materials and toxic gases in its operations against the PKK in northern Iraq."

The General Command of the People Defense Forces confirmed in a statement that the Turkish occupation state used 3,280 times internationally prohibited chemical weapons during the past year 2022.
