"I love my toys a lot, but I love the children of my country more," simple words written by a 7-year-old girl from Qamishlo in a letter she presented with her toys and clothes that she donated to the people affected by the earthquake in Syria.

The father of the child, Mira Sheikh Nour, Givara, tells our reporter the details of the issue under the donation tent set up by the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Jazira region under the slogan "Together for Humanity", in the city of Qamishlo, how the seven-year-old Mira looked sad while she watched the children who survived the earthquake.

Mira told her parents: "Surely these children have no clothes left in the cold. They have no toys left to play with. They are all gone in the earthquake," that is, (these children certainly remained without clothes. They had no toys left, they lost their lives in the earthquake).

Mira, who is from an Alawite mother, said: “I have nothing but clothes and my toys to donate.”

Before going to her father, Mira wrote a letter to the children who will receive the donation: "I am Mira from Qamishlo. I want to donate my toys and clothes to those who survived the earthquake. I love my toys a lot, but I love the children of my country more."

Yes, this is Mira, who represents the future of Syria, and the harsh conditions could not dissuade her from helping the children of her country.

On Monday, a 7.7-magnitude earthquake hit northern Kurdistan, Turkey, northern and central Syria, and affected the regions of northern and eastern Lebanon, and its aftershocks spread throughout the eastern Mediterranean region, leaving so far thousands of victims and great destruction.
