5 Turkish occupation soldiers killed by Guerrilla operation

The People's Defense Forces HPG announced the killing of 5 Turkish occupation soldiers during a series of specific operations by the Guerrilla forces in the legitimate defense areas, and at the same time confirmed the destruction of many weapons and sites of the Turkish occupation.

On Sunday, the Media Center of the People's Defense Forces HPG issued a statement to the public opinion on the latest developments and the ongoing battles in the legitimate defense areas, in which it stated:

On the second of February, Guerrilla fighters carried out a qualitative operation with heavy and individual weapons from 6 axes against the Turkish occupation in Hakkari Hill, which resulted in the killing of 5 Turkish occupation soldiers.

Also, 7 Guerrilla fighters rose to the rank of martyrdom after heroic epics in the Hakkari Hill operation.

The statement added, "In addition to the killing of 5 Turkish occupation soldiers, 3 surveillance cameras (Mobis), 4 weapon sites of A4 and BZ type, and another weapon were destroyed in the Hakkari operation, in addition to the destruction of a second (Mobis) camera in the vicinity of Sayda village in Jamjo region."

The statement indicated, "The Turkish occupation bombed the resistance areas in Hakkari Hill twice with warplanes, and dozens of times with tank shells, artillery and heavy weapons in Hakkari Hill and the Jamjo area."
