AANES delegation visits al Shahba canton, Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh neighbourhoods

The visiting delegation to al-Shahba canton and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods between January 31 and February 4 included the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Berivan Khaled, the deputy of the Executive Council, Hamdan al-Abed, and the co-chair of the General Administration of Fuels, Abeer Khaled. And the co-chair of the Social Affairs and Labor Body, Maryam Mohammad, and the deputy co-chair of the Health Body in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), Joan Fadel.

The delegation visited the camps of the IDPs, the political parties, institutions and councils in the district and the two neighborhoods.

Most notably (Tal Rifaat district council, Sherawa district council, Berxwedan, Sardam and al-Awda camps councils, Martyrs’ Families Council in Afrin region, Kongra Star, Democratic Society Movemen (TEV-DEM), Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement, Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) in al-Shahba, Democratic Union Party (PYD), Future Syria Party, Antiquities Directorate, Community Protection Forces, Internal Security Forces Center in Aleppo, Sheikh Maqsoud Municipality)

In its meetings, they focused on the difficulties faced by these institutions and the people in light of the siege imposed on the district and the two neighborhoods, which coincides with the continuous attacks of the Turkish occupier and its mercenaries on al-Shahba.

They also visited the hospitals and health centers in the region (Avrin Hospital, Tal Rifaat Hospital, and the Kurdish Red Crescent), and informed them of their workflow under the siege and the lack of medicines, supplies, and medical tools. with its result.

The delegation also visited the notables of the Kurdish and Arab clans in the region, including (Albu Khamis clan, Albubanneh, Albubatush, Aljaisat, Albu Issa) and talked about the policies pursued by the Turkish occupation.
