One mercenary, Syrian soldier killed in De-escalation zone

SOHR reported that a mercenary from "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" was killed by an exchange of artillery between the forces of the Damascus government and the mercenaries of "al-Fateh Al-Mubin" on the axis of the 46th Regiment in the western countryside of Aleppo.

A soldier of the Damascus government forces was also killed in an exchange of artillery and missile strikes between the mercenaries of "Tahrir al-Sham" and the Damascus government forces on the axes of Idlib countryside within the "De-escalation" zone.

The "De-escalation" zone witnesses mutual targeting, sniping and infiltration operations between the Damascus government forces and mercenaries from time to time.

This brings to 85 the number of soldiers and citizens who have been killed by ground strikes within the "De-escalation" zone since the beginning of 2023, during 32 operations that varied between attacks, sniping operations, clashes, and targeting. More than 50 soldiers and 6 citizens were injured in the aforementioned operations among them children with varying injuries.
