​​​​​​​KCK: Resistance of Weysî Taş against leader’s isolation must be expanded

ON Sunday, the co-presidency of the Executive Body of the Kurdistan Community Union (KCK) issued a written statement about the martyrdom of citizen Weysî Taş, who set himself on fire in Merdin on Friday, condemning the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan. The text of the statement read:

"Comrade Weysî Taş was martyred to denounce the isolation imposed by the Turkish authorities on leader Ocalan. We Knew about the operation from the press. The Comrade carried out a political operation against the isolation of leader Ocalan, We remember in the person of Weysî Taş all the martyrs of the revolution and democracy with respect and gratitude, and we renew our pledge to the martyrs to achieve victory.

We understood from the comrade Taş’s message, he was a patriot of great value and devoted his life to the struggle for freedom in Kurdistan. During the fascist military coup on September 12, he was arrested by the Turkish authorities and remained in Amed prison and was subjected to severe torture. He knew very well the face of colonialism. And the tyranny of the anti-Kurdish Turkish state, he struggled against the tyrannical and murderous enemy until he reached the rank of martyrdom, therefore, it can be seen that he is an informed person and has the highest level of awareness with his martyrdom he joined the caravan of martyrs and became the martyr of Kurdistan.

Through this operation, comrade Weysî Taş clearly showed his loyalty to the leader Ocalan and the Kurdish cause

His operation is also an example of great courage and loyalty, he deserves a lot of respect and love, and the messages he left us are also very meaningful and important, and if he mentions Uncle Musa, Jaran and Ferhad Kurtay is very significant, the invitations he made to the Kurdish people and messages should be taken Which he directed to the Kurdish artists seriously and fulfilled, and all the wishes and calls of comrade Weysî Taş before his martyrdom must be considered very meaningful and implemented, as the Kurdish freedom movement, we see the calls and wishes of comrade Taş as directives for us and say that we will act accordingly.

The Comrade  has carried out a great operation, calling on our people, friends, and the democratic forces to escalate the struggle until ensuring conditions of health, safety and freedom for leader Ocalan. At the same time, he wanted us as a movement to step up the pace of struggle against the tyrannical enemy with rich methods and effective operations.

The basic message of the operation is condemning the isolation imposed on leader Ocalan and breaking system of torture and isolation in Imrali , so we call on our people, friends and women to step up the pace Protests and struggle to break the system of torture and isolation applied in Imrali and guarantee the freedom of leader Ocalan, which is the basic call of our comrade Weysî Taş and all our martyrs.
