Martyrs Families council condemns Turkish occupation' use of chemical weapons against Guerrilla

Today, the Martyrs Families council in the Euphrates region issued a statement denouncing the Turkish occupation state's use of chemical weapons against Guerrilla, that reads:

"The Turkish occupation state's use of internationally prohibited weapons in 2022 and before it, in many regions of Kurdistan, against citizens and fighters defending the people of the region, amid international silence, is a violation of all humanitarian laws and international norms."

The statement of Martyrs Families council affirmed that "the use of weapons against the Guerrilla and the international forces disregard this is a serious transgression by the Turkish occupation state, which is a signatory to the Chemical Weapons Treaty, and a violation of the most basic human rights laws and international laws calling for the protection of peoples and the prevention of the use of these weapons."

The statement called on the international forces and all organizations calling for the protection of human rights to "assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities against the crimes of the Turkish occupation state, and to form an international commission of inquiry in order to prosecute criminals of the Justice and Development government, and bring them to the International Court in Hague; for committing crimes against humanity."
