​​​​​​​First conference of Syrian initiative for leader Ocalan freedom kicks off

In the meantime, the first conference of the Syrian initiative for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan is being held in the city of Qamishlo, in Zana Hall, in the presence of 175 delegates from political parties, AANES institutions, notables and sheikhs of Arab and Kurdish clans, the Council of Martyrs' Families, Kongra Star, Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young woman Union.

Pictures of leader Ocalan were hung in the hall, and the slogan of the conference was "Leader Apo's freedom is a guarantee for solution and peace."

The conference began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then member of the Syrian Initiative for leader Abdullah Ocalan freedom, Suleyman Issa Ahmed, delivered an speech.

And he indicated that the conference discussions will touch on "the role of the region, its history, the role of women, and the discussion about peoples' issues and crises in the Middle East and the world as a whole, and how to solve them according to the thought of leader Ocalan."
