Roj News: 89 Yazidi families returned to Şengal

Roj News Agency said that 89 Yazidi families have returned to Tal Izêr district in Şengal coming from Sardasht camp in Şengal Mountains.

"89 Yazidi families returned today, Monday, from Sardasht camp in the Şengal Mountains, to Tel Izêr district, with the help of the Autonomous Administration and some humanitarian organizations," the director of Tal Izêr district in Şengal district, Khodaida Joki, told the agency.

This comes after securing the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Şengal district the daily necessities and infrastructure in some villages and cities, according to the agency.

It is worth noting that the liberation of the district by the People's Defense Forces, the People's and Women's Protection Units, the Yazidi forces, and the formation of the Democratic Autonomous Administration later; It was an encouraging factor to return to Şengal.

Thousands of members of the Yazidi community had fled their areas during the attacks of ISIS mercenaries on Şengal in August 2014, as well as the killings and kidnappings of thousands by the mercenaries.
