It is worth noting that the leader's lawyers submit two requests every week to meet with their client, but the requests are systematically rejected under the pretext of imposing a disciplinary penalty on the leader Ocalan.

Recently, after the end of the ban imposed on meeting Abdullah Ocalan, on November 18, which began on April 13, it was announced that this ban would be extended automatically.

After the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) visited Turkey on September 20-29, concerns increased about the situation of leader Ocalan, who refused to meet with it, no news about him had reported for more than 21 months.
