European Union condemns Iranian bombing of Southern Kurdistan

 The European Union said, in a statement, today, Tuesday, "We condemn in the strongest terms the renewed Iranian bombing of the Kurdistan region of Iraq," stressing that "Tehran violates the sovereignty and integrity of Iraq."

 The statement called for "an end to the repeated attacks on the Kurdistan region of Iraq," reiterating its support for Iraq in this regard.

 The Arab Parliament also condemned, earlier today, during a written statement, the Iranian bombing of several areas in Southern Kurdistan, and said that it "condemns the missile and artillery attack by the Iranian Republic on the town of Koysanjak, east of Erbil, in the Kurdistan Region of the Republic of Iraq, which led to the occurrence of  number of martyrs and injured.

 Yesterday, Roj News Agency said that three drones bombed the headquarters of Kurdish parties, in the Arbat district of Sulaymaniyah, in conjunction with another Iranian bombing that was carried out with two missiles in the Koysanjak district of Hewler, in addition to targeting the Sidkan district, north of Hewler.

 The bombing resulted in the loss and injury of 9 people, according to what was announced by the Minister of Health of Southern Kurdistan, Saman Barzanji, on Monday.
