Al-Hol Camp Administration: combing the camp is a precautionary measure to limit ISIS activity

Al-Hol Camp Administration indicated that the increased activity of ISIS cells is linked to the Turkish attacks against the area, and said: the cells move as if they are outside the camp in organizing themselves, so there is an urgent need to a security operation in the camp to limit its activity.

The administrator in al-Hol camp, Jihan Hanan, said that after the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on NE Syria, the activity of ISIS cells increased in al-Hol camp. It is linked to the attacks of the Turkish occupation state that are being promoted and prepared.”

Jihan noted, our statement was clear and we appealed to all countries concerned with the Al-Hol file that have nationals to stop the activity of ISIS cells and their impact on the camp, which includes innocent people, as ISIS movements negatively affect the entire population of the camp.

Jihan explained that there is an urgent and necessary need to carry out a security operation within the camp to curb ISIS activity due to the increase in killings and the presence of weapons in the camp, which poses a direct threat to the camp's residents and workers.

Jihan appealed to the international actors to find an appropriate and final solution to the file of Al-Hol camp.

It could explode at any moment

Jihan stressed that the camp poses a great threat to the residents of the area, "The situation here could explode at any moment, and this camp cannot be dealt with as a military prison or with soldiers, it is dealt with on the basis that there are civilians and innocent people, the situation will be catastrophic if something happens in the camp."
