He added that "Iraq considers this action a violation of its sovereignty and the sanctity of the country, and an act that violates international covenants and laws that regulate relations between countries.

He pointed out that "the Iraqi government stresses that the territory of Iraq will not be a headquarters or corridor for harming any of the neighboring countries, and it also refuses that Iraq should be an arena for conflicts and settling accounts for other external parties."

In his turn, Al-Sadr said in a tweet on Twitter, "Neighboring Turkey has bombed Iraqi lands unjustly and without pretext. And if there is a danger that threatens it from Iraqi lands, it must coordinate with the Iraqi government to end the danger, as the Iraqi security forces are capable of that," according to what was reported by Roj agency

And he continued, "If this is repeated from it, we will not be silent, because Iraq is a fully sovereign state and will not accept aggression and destabilization of security in its lands, and will not accept aggression against neighboring and brotherly and friendly countries."
