​​​​​​​Girê Spî Council documents the destruction of 11 houses as a result of recent Turkish bombing

During the past few days, Turkish occupation and its mercenaries escalated their bombardment on Ain Issa district, the villages of the countryside of Girê Spî and M4 international road in Girê Spî Canton, where these villages are bombed with dozens of artillery shells and rockets on a daily basis, It was counted that 45 artillery and tank shells fell in one night on those villages.

The villages and homes of citizens in Sayda, Ma'alak, Al-Jadeda, Mushairfa, Hawalk, Um Huwaysh, Al-A'arida and M4 international road are bombed from occupation base in Karmazat village, and the bases adjacent to M4 international road.

According to Violations Documentation Office in Girê Spî district council, this bombing caused the destruction of 11 houses, including a completely destroyed house in the village of Al-Jadeda (7 km west of the center of Ain Issa district), while the rest of the houses were partially destroyed.

In this regard, the administrator in Violations Documentation Office in Girê Spî Council, Fatih Kurdo, warned of the consequences of the continuation of this barbaric escalation by Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the populated villages, calling on the international community and Russian guarantor to move quickly to put an end to this escalation.

And that since the beginning of Turkish occupation launching its attacks on October 9, 2019, the number of destroyed houses in the villages located on the frontlines in the Canton has reached 124.
