2 Turkish soldiers killed in Zab

In memory of the Werkhele martyrs a series of operations were carried out by the guerrilla fighters against Turkish occupation forces in which two Turkish soldiers were killed.

In a statement released by the Media Office of the Peoples' Defense Forces on the qualitative operations carried out by the guerrilla fighters, the HPG, against Turkish occupation forces in the Zab Region it revealed:

''within the Zagros Hawks Operation in the region of Zab;

A two -pronged operation was carried out on 8 April in the Bedewe Castle which was done successfully.

On the same day Turkish war planes shelled Tal Cudi region and Zab.

On the very same day Turkish war planes bombarded the frontier region of Werkhele of the Avashin region.

On 9 April Turkish war planes hovered over Qashura of the Metina Region and in line with that helicopters hovered over Deshishe, Seraro, Idne and the Kurdine field''.

The statement noted the Bedewe operations were carried out in memory of those martyred by chemical weapons and fought bravely.
