Occupied Afrin District Council: We will not back down until we return to free Afrin

On Thursday, the Afrin Canton Council made a statement on the fourth anniversary of the occupation of Afrin canton on March 18, 2018.

Dozens of members of the canton council and Sardam camp council gathered in the camp to make a statement condemning the occupation of the occupied canton of Afrin by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

The statement was delivered in Kurdish and Arabic by deputy co-chairmanship Mohammed Abdo, the co-chair of the Afrin Canton Council, Zulukh Bakr respectively.

At the beginning of its statement, the Afrin Canton Council said, "Four years have passed since the Afrin Holocaust. Fascist Turkey is still going on."

Adding: "Four years, Afrin is still burning with the fire of ISIS terrorist Erdogan, and violations are still continuing, including killing, kidnapping, demographic change, and the seizure of civilian property inside Afrin, more precisely, the cultural, historical and natural genocide perpetrated by the MIT and the mercenaries of Hitler's era Erdogan. These violations by the Turkish state in Afrin have only one definition, which is terrorism.

Noting that "all these brutal violations are being practiced in front of the eyes and ears of the entire world and organizations that claim to protect human rights."

The occupied Afrin canton council increased in its statement by saying: "The world witnessed how the Afrinians resisted for 58 days in front of the most powerful modern technological weapons, as well as internationally prohibited, without moving the global conscience, and this conscience still suffers from slumber."

The council affirmed that the displaced people in al-Shahba are all determined and determined in their resistance. Daily it is subjected to inhumane violations, and the Turkish fascist is constantly bombing civilians and committing massacres against defenseless civilians, especially innocent children.

The Occupied Afrin Canton Council stressed the resistance until the liberation of Afrin, saying: "Once again we, the Afrin people, as we pledged to the martyrs, renew our pledge that whatever the cost, we will continue our resistance to the end and will not retreat until we reach a free Afrin and return with dignity to the Holy Land.

We call on all institutions that call themselves human rights and the United Nations, and we demand that they reconsider their methods and approaches to peoples' issues, stir their conscience even a little, and document these violations, and that Erdogan be tried as a murderer.
