KNK decries international plot on the Ocalan leader

The Executive Council of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK)) issued a statement, on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the international conspiracy, which began on February 15, 1999 against the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The statement reads:

 “On February 15, 1999, a major violation occurred against one of the eminent figures representing the people of Kurdistan and the leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, on the one hand, and by the other side represented by the Turkish occupation state and the coalition countries in the world, where the leader Ocalan demanded the freedom of his people and he fought for the freedom of his homeland, which angered the enemy and his allies and wanted to tighten the screws on the leader. They did not care about the law, nor conscience, justice and fairness, nor human rights, nor justice and morals, and they decided to silence the voice of the Kurdish representative who struggled for justice and became the voice of truth, conscience. law, justice, peace, equality, freedom and all human values.”

It added: "As Turkey's allies in the world, starting from the United States to many European Union countries, Greece, Russia, Israel, Egypt and Kenya, have lined up in the line of injustice and violated human and moral norms for their own interests, and they violated humanitarian norms by handing over the leader Ocalan to the Turkish state is using tricks.

It referred to the purpose of the international conspiracy, "their purpose was to liquidate the freedom movement of the people of Kurdistan, as the post-conspiracy phase clearly showed that these centers far from justice did not achieve their goal and did not reach their goal. It is worth noting that the Turkish state is not hostile to the Kurdish people in Northern Kurdistan only, but in Southern, Western and Eastern Kurdistan, At the international level, it is trying to prevent recognition of the Kurds, attacking all their achievements, and continuing the conspiracy in one way or another. That is why the Kurds and their friends should know this fact, take the necessary measures according to this fact and escalate the struggle.

The Kurdistan National Congress noted the campaigns launched to achieve the physical freedom of the leader Ocalan, and said: "It has been 23 years since the February 15 plot, and the leader Abdullah Ocalan is still in prison and facing severe isolation imposed on him, and the friends of the Kurdish people have been released for more than the year of a large-scale campaign at the international level entitled "It is time for freedom" to demand the release of the leader Ocalan, expressing his support for the goals of the campaign.

On the anniversary of the February 15 plot, the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK), once again called on all Kurds in the homeland and in the diaspora, to raise their voices and escalate the struggle for the freedom of Leader Ocalan, the liberation of Kurdistan and the strengthening and unification of their unity and alliance with the friends and allies of the Kurds; To condemn enemies and their allies.

It also called on all Kurdistans to join the protests of the February 15 conspiracy, and to show their support for the struggle for the cause of Kurdistan to friends and foes alike.
