Hasakah city witness a total curfew in implementing Interior Body decision

Al-Hasakah city, in NE Syria is experiencing a total shutdown and total curfew, after it was declared by Interior Body of North and East Syria, on yesterday Sunday, in the line with developments regarding Sina’a Prison on the southern side of the city.

In the light of the recent attempt by ISIS cells to move in the region in the city of Hasakah in NE Syria, the Interior Body of North and East Syria has declared a total curfew in Hasakah and a partial curfew on other cities and departments, so that its forces can carry out their security functions in maintaining the security and stability of the region.

Meanwhile, the city is witnessing full compliance with the decision announced yesterday, Sunday, as there is a complete closure of shops and markets, with the exception of groceries and bakeries, amid the scarcity of pedestrians and cars inside the city.

The entrances and exits of the city are witnessing a tightening of security, and cars and vehicles are not allowed to enter, except for the transportation of vegetables and foodstuffs.

According to the decision of the Interior Body, the total curfew will continue in the city for a period of 7 consecutive days, starting from today, January 24, until the 31st of the same month.
