Many Kurdish women were martyred in all arenas, Laila Qasem, Sakine Cansiz, Zilan, Beritan, Shilan, Viyan and Sema Yoja and many others left a lasting legacy in the whole of Kurdistan and the Middle East alike.

Targeting Kurdish women is not accidently, rather due to the struggle put up by these women against the out-dated mentality ruling society and politics and to put an end by the occupation to the struggle performed by women. Examples of these are:

Sakine Jansiz, Fidan Dogan and Leyla Soylemez on 9 January 2013, and Heverine Khelef, head of Syria's Democraticf Party, on 11 October 2019, and two Star Congers OF Kobane Zehra Bergel and Hebun Mela Khelil on 23 June 2020, co-chaor of the Tal Shayer Council Se'da Hermas and her deputy Hind Khider on 22 January 2020, HDP  member Deniz Poyraz on 17 June 2021, all corroborate such policies. These policies are not new, for in Dersim many pregnant women were bayonetted to death.

On 4 January 2016 Turkish police and Special Forces attacked with armored vehicles Silope in the Shernakh Province in Northern Kurdistan on which 4 persons were martyred. Seve Demir, Member of the Administrative Body of the Free Woman Movement, co-chair of the Peoples' House in the city of Silpoe Bakiz Nayer and member of the Free Woman Movement Fatima Oyar and another citizen whose ID remained unidentified due to the deformities he incurred.

On the fifth annual anniversary, activist in the Free Woman Movement, TJA,  Kheje Shan, a close friend to Seve, recalled the three martyrs Seve, Bakiza and Fatima saying killing of Kurdish women should be recognized as a genocide considering Silope and Paris massacres alike.

'' I made acquaintance with Seve in 1997 on the day Azadiye Welat was established, we worked together, from 1997 up to 2000, then Seve joined the Women Branch in the HADEP while I proceeded my work in the paper, says Kheje.

In 2003 we established the Fee Democratic Feminist Movement and we continued work, in 2006 we established TZPkurdi after a while we were arrested and we remained in in different jails in Turkey. We were released in 2014 to form again KJA. We were members in DBP for Mardin and Shernakh.

Kheje commented on the murder of the three activists saying '' the murder in Silope is a political massacre, the Turkish state sought to commit a genocide against the Kurdish people in their personalities, for this reason it ought to be defined as a genocide against Kurdish women''.

On these policies, Kheje says it is not a one dimension policy, rather it is a multi-dimension one; it goes politically, economically, socially and physically against women, on a daily basis, at least seven women are beaten or murdered, she says.

Kheje says the murder of the three Kurdish activists in Paris revealed the actual reality of the international policies openly, '' the Paris and Silope massacres are not committed randomly, they are based on one policy, even their dates are very identical, the Paris one was committed on 9 January 2013 and the Silope was committed on 4 January 2016, this is not accident''.

Kheje said since the Turkish state is a candidate to join the EU it hence carries out dictates, this cannot be concealed, adding the crime against the six activists aim to strike at the will of the Kurdish women and the Kurds at large, '' the woman in Kurdistan occupies a high position regarding the love for homeland, patriotism and revolution. By her struggle she had made a great revolution in Rojava, that attracted the world attention, that perturbs the Turkish state seeking to destroy this revolution, and to loot Kurdistan from the collective memory, this is its aim. If a question is posed why Northern Kurdistan is the object the answer is it is the sole and core of the whole of Kurdistan''.

''Northern Kurdistan occupies a special position, and undoubtedly this is related to the struggle put up by women, and her resistance'' says Kheje.

At the end, Kheje said '' we, in TJA, will proceed to struggle to attain our national values, language, culture, water, land, geography and will''.
