Guerrilla TV channel published footage of a qualitative operation against the Turkish occupation army in Gever, Gulmark, which resulted in killing of 9 Turkish soldiers .

HPG's Media Centre reported the killing of 9 soldiers and destruction of a military vehicle, during a qualitative operation conducted by People's Defense Forces in Gever, northern Kurdistan, on the 16th of last August. HPG's Media Center indicated that a number of the occupation soldiers, when they left one of their bases to the village of Kandlouk, were targeted by a unit of the Guerilla forces.

"HPG confirmed that the operation came in retaliation for the national martyr Ibrahim Hassan, a resident of Başûr (South Kurdistan)", Roj News Agency.

The citizen, Ibrahim Hassan, was shot dead by the Turkish occupation army, inside his farm, when he was working in watering trees.

Since the 23rd of last April, the Turkish occupation state has continued to bombard large areas in Başûr (South Kurdistan), amid the silence of the Baghdad and Erbil governments, while the bombing caused heavy material losses to civilian property, in addition to the martyrdom of dozens of civilians.
