Afrin's Kongra Star condemns Turkish occupation's attacks on Şengal,NES

Hundreds of Kongra Star members of Afrin canton, the Free Women's Council of al-Shahba canton, and the Yezidi Free Women's Union in Rojava gathered in front of the Kongra Star Center building in Sardam camp located in the village of Tal Sawsan in the al-Ahdath district of al-Shahba canton.

 The women carried the flags of Kongra Star and the Federation of Free and Yazidi Women, and pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and pictures of the Yazidi martyrs in Şengal in the barbaric bombing of the Turkish occupation on the region.

 The statement was read in Kurdish and Arabic by two members of the Star Conference of Afrin region, and it said:

 The violations of Ottoman fascism continued to increase in the most brutal massacres and war crimes against the Kurds and its humanitarian project that made the human being an inexhaustible and invincible reality, and his use of all methods and policies to repeat his repressive and arbitrary attacks on the legitimate defense areas and the battlefields that now enjoy security and stability, and in light of the Autonomous Administration in Şingal and its recent targeting with its drones, the People’s Assembly building in Khansour district.”

 The statement continued, "A few days ago, the co-chair of the Şingal's Autonomous Administration Marwan Badal, was targeted. These heinous crimes against the Yazidi people were committed by firmans against them. They are nothing but firmans to exterminate the peoples of the region - the ancient minority with a civilization that is thousands of years old."

 Kongra Star’s statement noted the ongoing violations of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against women in occupied Afrin, and the continuous kidnappings, the latest of which was the death sentence issued against two Kurdish young women, in Al-Ra’i prison, in an effort to break the will of women.  In the hands of the merchants of the homeland, known as the Barzani family, representatives of treachery over the years, known for their black history.

 The statement condemned the crimes that contradict all charters and constitutions stipulating respect for human rights, calling on humanitarian organizations to send a fact-finding committee to document the crimes of mercenaries and Erdogan's sponsor against the people of the region and hold him accountable before the law.

 The statement ended with chanting slogans that salute the resistance of the age and denounce the crimes of the Turkish occupation.
