Kongra Star: Turkey’s allegations in a suicide Gharib Jizar seeks to fake the facts

Kongra Star in Rojava issued a written statement on Saturday regarding the murder of the Kurdish terrorist, Gharib Jizar, in a Turkish fascist prison.

Coordination rejected Turkey's claims about the suicide of the Kurdish prisoner: "Turkey's alleged suicide, without providing further details on how it was able to commit suicide inside the cell, raises internal and external doubts about the circumstances of the death. All this refers to human rights violations, and all the serious abuses in Turkish prisons of torture, assault and killings that the Turkish authorities call suicide are only to escape accountability and falsify the facts."

She had previously told her sister that she had been held in a cell, stripped of her clothes in front of guards, beaten and harassed, and left untreated.

Kongra Star Coordination in Rojava condemned the policy of repression and intimidation committed against detainees in fascist prisons, stressing that violations in justice and development prisons were being carried out in a systematic manner in the front of the eyes of the international organizations that turns blind eye of the immoral crimes against detainees in Turkish jails.

In its statement, the Coordination called upon civil and human rights organizations not to allow the Turkish authorities to conceal their crime and to intervene to end violence and torture against detainees and to assume their responsibilities towards them.

Kongra Star Coordination stressed their continued struggle for women, especially women in detention, with the same determination, stressing "We will bring the struggle for women's freedom everywhere in the world."
