Political Analyst: Kurdo- Arab unity: The risks and the common fate

Yemeni political analyst, Abdullah Omar Bawazir, said that the Kurds and Arabs are not required to make an alliance at the present time; but a strategic unit; Because they face existential dangers due to their history and destiny.

Bawazir, said that factors of geography, history, and a single doctrine should govern Arabs and Kurds strategic relations.

He indicates that Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi is Kurdish man, but he "liberated Jerusalem and Arab lands from Crusader-colonial domination."

He considered that "the basis for an organic relationship and a solid ground for a strategy that must be based on an existential relationship that has become a necessity today in the face of dangers which threaten future of the Arab-Kurdish region more than ever before."

In a special statement to ANHA Bawazir made the point clear that Kurds and Arabs were within the division after the First World War,by saying : "The Kurds were distributed between two Arab countries (Iraq and Syria) and between Turkey and Iran, which are regional countries aspiring to dominate of geography and resources of Iraq and Syria, hence we find that equal Arab and Kurdish citizenship imposes strategic unity more important than an alliance.

Yemeni political concluded "So I say it as an Arab: that the geographical, cultural and economic unity holds the Arab and Kurdish nations responsible for realizing the risks of this stage. The common fate and history and existential risks."
