SDF commander talks about objectives of latest Turkish escalation in Ain Issa

 The center of Ain Issa district and its outskirts are witnessing violent bombardment by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries from their occupation bases near the village of Sayyda and Karmazah with heavy weapons.

 The violent bombardment left material damage to civilians' cars and homes, in addition to the shrapnel reaching Al-Nuri Mosque in the center of the district and the Martyr Omar Alloush Hospital.

 Our agency documented, with photos and videos, the shells, some of which did not explode, in the neighborhoods of Ain Issa district and its outskirts.

 This bombing was preceded by an operation attempt by mercenaries from the Sayyda axis, east of Ain Issa district, with the aim of occupying the village and blocking the road, but the SDF inflicted heavy losses on them in equipment and lives, as the SDF announced in a statement that it had managed to eliminate 8 and wound 9.

 In a statement to our agency, the field commander of the SDF, Agid, said that "the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, since the beginning of their occupation of Girê Spî canton and its countryside, have not stopped bombing the lines of the engagement and the populated villages."

 He added, "As for the latest escalation over the past two days, its aim was to occupy the village of Sidon and cut off the international road to the movement of civilians, and the bombing of the district and its outskirts was nothing but an attempt to sow terror among civilians and destabilize the security and stability of the region."

 At the end of his speech, he pledged to defend the district, repel any attack against it, and thwart the plans of the Turkish occupier and its mercenaries to occupy more Syrian lands.
