​​​​​​​ Saleh Kado: use of chemical weapons by Turkey is failed policy

 The speech of the Secretary-General of the Syrian Kurdish Left Party, Saleh Kado, came during his participation in a special program broadcast by our agency about the ongoing campaigns of extermination against the Kurdish people and Turkey's use of chemical weapons against the Guerilla forces.

Kado said: "The aggressive schemes planned by the occupying regional states of Kurdistan. These schemes have not stopped for decades. These countries, despite their differences, agree when the attitude towards the Kurdish people is where their economic and political interests are intertwined and agree on the concept of genocide and the erasure of the existence of the Kurds."

 He added that the Turkish state is pursuing a policy whose features on the ground are aimed at annihilating the Kurds. This is not hidden even by Turkish officials, headed by Erdogan, who is not ashamed to raise it permanently.

 Kado condemned the international silence towards what is happening to the Kurds, sayibg that the attack on the Kurds does not target a party or group of forces only, but rather targets all the Kurds.  Kurdistan has not yet been able to enhance its national cohesion to confront these practices."

 Turkey uses the policy of reactions and the use of prohibited weapons is part of it

 Since last April 23, Turkey has launched an occupation attack on the areas of Başûr Kurdistan and the legitimate defense zones "Medya", while the Turkish army is using the latest military technologies and internationally prohibited chemical weapons, without been unable to make any progress on the ground.

Kado said about this: “The attacks failed and Turkey is practicing a policy of reactions, that is, the policy of the failure who was unable to make any progress or victory in its attacks against Guerilla. The Turkish leadership realizes that its attacks weaken these forces and certainly the issue of eliminating them is impossible.”  It will be a severe blow to the Kurdish people in all parts of Kurdistan."

 "Turkey occupies large areas of Başûr lands and dozens of bases exist. The Turkish state, as a result of its reactions and for its failure, uses chemical weapons," he added.

 Regarding the international silence regarding its use, Kado indicated that the loss of any international reaction towards Turkey is very unfortunate, "When it was used in Syria, the international community created a big commotion and there were terrible reactions, but when it comes to the Kurds, everyone takes a position of silence."

 The Kurdistan Democratic Party must act according to the interests of the Kurds

 Kado called on the Kurdistan Democratic Party to protect the interests and rights of the Kurds and to stay away from dealing with the Turkish occupation, and said, "We call on them to support the Kurdish movement in the four parts of Kurdistan. We are in a critical historical stage in which the enemies of the Kurdish people seek to exterminate the Kurds, and this calls for a solid Kurdish stance."  "We should not contribute to the deepening of conflicts, but our main task should be to push things towards Kurdish dialogue," he added.

 Since the 5th of this October, thousands of the families of the martyrs and the people of Al-Jazeera region have staged a sit-in at the Semalka border crossing, demanding the KDP hand over the bodies of the two martyrs who were martyred in an ambush in the Khalifan area.

 Despite this, he did not respond to the demands of the families of the martyrs, the Secretary-General of the Syrian Kurdish Left Party, Salih Kado, said: "I add my voice to the voices of the mothers of the martyrs who were protesting in Simalka, and we demand the bodies of the martyrs, respond to the cry of mothers, and hand over the bodies of the martyrs."
