Politician: If we achieve a Kurdish unity, it will be harsh blow to Turkey

Member of the Political Office of the Kurdish Leftist Party-Syria, Hussein al-Ali, said that the Turkish state is seeking to occupy more territory in the region until the centenary of the Lausanne Treaty in 2023, stressing the necessity to achieve the unity of Kurdish parties in confronting Turkish occupation ambition.

Turkish occupation attacks have escalated in recent times in NE, Syria, targeting civilian populated areas directly to intimidate and empty the area.

Member of the Political Office of the Kurdish Leftist Party in Syria, Hussein al-Ali, noted this stage that is going through of the Kurdish people is very sensitive, so the Kurdish parties and the peoples of the region must therefore join hands together and achieve Kurdish unity to deter the Turkish occupation, adding," the policy of the Turkish state has been known from time to time of the Old Ottoman to the new Ottoman ear of Erdogan to seek further occupation in the region, until the centenary of the Treaty of Lausanne in 2023."

Al - Ali noted that Turkish attacks on north and east Syria are not new, and continued that "Turkish occupation fights every Kurdish project wherever it exists, and its massacres are repeated on a daily basis in areas of north and east Syria and areas occupied in Syria such as Afrin, Tal-Abyed and Ras al-Ain."

Al-Ali demanded that Russia and America "explain their position on the Turkish occupation attacks on areas of NE, Syria, especially after committing massacre against civilians in Zergan district by the occupation."

He went to say that "We all know that the Turkish occupying state is suffering from internal crises and through its attacks on NE, Syria is trying to move these attacks abroad,"

He called upon the people of the region and the Kurdish parties to act as a single force to combat the Turkish occupation and to restore the territory of NE, Syria occupied by Turkey. He said that "Kurdish parties must leave their interests and differences away and work for the success of national unity and for the benefit of the Kurdish people, who are displaced and killed on a daily basis by the Turkish occupation."

He concluded his speech by stressing that the unity of the Kurdish parties would be a serious blow to Turkey and all its supporters, wishing that "this success would be achieved for the Kurdish people and that a Kurdish democratic project would be established to stand together against the enemies of the Kurdish people."
