P.D.K.S calls on PDK to stop manipulating the fate of the Kurds

With the continued attacks of the Turkish occupation on Southern Kurdistan, and the insistence of the Kurdistan Democratic Party on its subordination to the Turkish state and the implementation of its plans, popular and political reactions against the attacks of the occupation and the complicity of the Kurdistan Democratic Party are escalating.

In this regard, the secretary of PDK-Syria, Abdul Karim Seko, stated that "there have been many betrayals and conspiracies in Kurdish history before, because the policy of the PDK has always been based on the protection of its own interests."

And he added that "The Kurdish people know that the Turkish state will never give up the area that it entered because it bases its presence on ending the Kurdish people, adding "conditions have changed now and no one can mislead Kurdish public opinion anymore, the fighting of brothers at these historic stages based on the protection of Kurdish gains against the enemies of Kurd, that is considered a betrayal of the Kurdish cause. "

Seko warned the Kurdistan Democratic Party of a popular uprising in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) against the backdrop of its complicity with the Turkish occupation, and pointed out that "any concession to the enemy of the Kurdish people is a betrayal rejected by the Kurdish people."

He criticized Masoud Barzani, the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, for reneging on the pledge not to be drawn to intra fighting the brothers, and said: "What is happening today in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan), especially in the legitimate defense zones, indicates Barzani's failure to fulfill his promises to the Kurdish people."

About the Turkish occupation state's hostility to any Kurdish project or gain; "The Turkish state's hostility against the Kurds is historic. It is reflected in the ongoing execution of extermination attacks against the Kurdish people and the use of all its military power and international relations with neighbouring countries to end the Kurdish cause."

He concluded his speech by calling on the Kurdistan Democratic Party to abandon its support for the Turkish occupation - which committed crimes against the Kurds - as this does not serve the Kurdish cause and the Kurdish people, He added, "the peoples of the region no longer accept a new Ottoman occupation and categorically reject any Turkish intervention, and the Kurdish parties must move according to popular demands, and go towards meeting the demands of the Kurdish street in order to solve the Kurdish issue and transfer it to international forums."
