​​​​​​​ 10 Turkish occupation soldiers killed in Kurdistan's Wan: HPG announces

The media center of the Peoples' Defense Forces issued a statement announcing that their fighters carried out an operation against the Turkish occupation army in the "Shakh" area in the Kurdistan Bakurs' Wan and it resulted in the killing of 10 Turkish occupation soldiers.

 The text of the statement stated:

Within the framework of the victory campaign of the heroes of Botan

 On August 6, 5 am,  fighters of the YJA- Star Units (YJA) destroyed a station belonging to the Turkish occupation in the village of Shamansi in the Shakh district of the Kurdistan region of Wan.  After the operation, the Turkish occupation forces sent two armored vehicles to the site of the attack.  Our forces monitored the two vehicles and followed their movements, and then

targeted one of the two vehicles and destroyed it completely, which led to the killing of 10 Turkish soldiers in the armored vehicle.

The YJA's Units in the Botan region carried out this operation to commemorate the resistance of the 15th of August, which is the day of resurrection for the Kurdish people.  The operation resulted in the killing of 10 Turkish soldiers and the destruction of a vehicle and station belonging to the Turkish occupation.

 On the sixth of this August, our forces targeted with heavy weapons the soldiers of the Turkish occupation who were on the hill of Shahid Shahan.  In this process, our forces were able to direct direct strikes to the soldiers of the Turkish occupation.

 On August 6^th, at 11 am, our forces targeted with heavy weapons the soldiers of the Turkish occupation in the small square of Çilo in the Zab region, but the number of deaths of the Turkish occupation in the operation was not confirmed.

On 8^th of August, at 10 am, our forces carried out a qualitative operation against the Turkish occupation soldiers who were trying to impose a military cordon on the Gorê Tirê Square in the Avashin area.  Our forces succeeded in breaking the Turkish occupation soldiers militarily, forcing them to stop building fortifications and retreat.

 On August 7^th, at midnight, the Turkish occupation helicopters flew intensively over the squares of Girê Tire, Girê Spî, Tabora Arban, Girê Suleiman and Mam Rasho in the Avashin area.

On August 7, in the evening until midnight, the Turkish occupation forces targeted with explosives and helicopters military tunnels in Warkhali Square in Afashin area.  The Turkish occupation forces later bombed the military tunnels in Girê Tirê Square with heavy weapons.  On the same day, the Turkish occupation forces attacked with chemical weapons five times in a row the areas of the military tunnels, in conjunction with an intense movement of the Turkish occupation’s drones over the square.

 The air and ground attacks did not result in any casualties among our forces.
