Father of kidnapped guerrilla: This act undermines Kurdish unity

The father of one of the guerrilla fighters kidnapped by the KDP-affiliated forces said that act aims at thwarting the efforts to unite the Kurdish ranks, calling on the KDP to reveal the fate of the kidnapped guerrilla fighters.

Since the 23rd of April, the Turkish occupation army has launched a massive land and air attack on the areas of Zab, Avashin and Metina in Başûr Kurdistan, in conjunction with its targeting on the 5th of this month, Makhmour (Rustom Judi) camp, which is inhabited by thousands of civilians, with the aim of occupying it after the defeat in Gara on the 14th of last February.

The fighters of the Peoples' Defense Forces make heroic epics against the Turkish occupation army equipped with the latest weapons, in addition to internationally prohibited (chemical) weapons.

A group of Peoples' Defense Forces, of 3 fighters, was attacked by the forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the Khalifan area of Başûr Kurdistan on the 26th of last July.

Hussein Sharif, the father of the fighter "Djwar Barkhadan", one of the kidnapped fighters, said that his son decided to join the HPG in defense of Kurdistan four years ago.

Sharif added, "A week ago, we received the news of his kidnapping with two of his guerrilla fighters by the forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party."

Sharif stressed that the aim of their kidnapping is to sabotage the efforts to unity, which is the wish of every Kurdish person.

At the end of his speech, Hussein Sharif called on the Kurdistan Democratic Party and Masoud Barzani in particular, to reveal the fate of the Guerilla fighters.
