A number of families of martyrs in the city of Kobani affirmed that the Guerilla forces will win in the end because they are on the right path, and they demanded from the Kurdistan Democratic Party not to yield to the demands of the Turkish occupation, which are not in the interest of the Kurdish people, and to cooperate with the Guerilla forces in order to achieve victories in the interest of the Kurdish cause.

• Farman Hussein, a member of the district committee of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (al-Party) in the Euphrates region, indicated that the Syrian crisis cannot be resolved without recognizing the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, noting that it is part of Syria's stability.
• "With the will, we can create from our simple capabilities a lot of gains."
• The spokeswoman for the Kurdistan Free Women Organization, Soma Farhad, said, "The mentality that committed the Shingal massacre is the same that arrested 3 members of the Kurdistan Free Women's Organization, and added:" This arrest does not target our members only, but is a result of the policies pursued against women's institutions.  The arrest of our female members poses a great danger to women’s organizations.”

• Dr. Mukhtar Ghobashi, Vice President of the Arab Center for Political and Strategic Studies, said that Arab-Kurdish unity has become an urgent necessity at the present time to be the nucleus of a democratic Middle East.

• Some circles believe that if the militants continue to make progress in Daraa, Russia and Iran may give full support to the government to launch a major military operation, while others believe that Russia will not allow the escalation, while observers saw that Ghannouchi's statements and his attempts to push for foreign intervention in his country revealed  the ugly face of the Brotherhood movement in its hostility to the national state.

• The Martyr Herkul Book Fair was organized for the first time in 2017 in the city of Qamishlo, coinciding with the anniversary of the martyrdom of (Hussein Shaweesh) Herkul on the 20th of July 2016.

• A number of Kobani youth confirmed that the goal of the Turkish occupation state in its indiscriminate attacks on the regions of northern and eastern Syria is to undermine the will of the peoples of the region to facilitate the process of its occupation of the region.
