PYD: July 19th Revolution to deliver Mid-East to democracy and freedom  

On Sunday, PYD's General Council issued a written statement, in which it affirmed that the July 19th Revolution "is the revolution of the Middle East towards democracy and freedom."

" the 9th anniversary of July 19th Revolution, which was launched from Kobani to Rojava continues to take place and will not cease until the aspirations of our people in north and east Syria and Syria in general are fulfilled by the establishment of the principles and philosophy of the democratic nation. This great project was achieved via peoples' will and sacrifices made by martyrs from the best daughters and sons of this people who are committed to their freedom and dignity."

"The decision to launch 19 July was bold and met historical requirements that were detailed between the options of a free and dignified life and humiliation and the end. It was a historically correct decision that constituted a turning point in the historical course of our people, a choice between a tyrannical regime that made the homeland an unbearable hell, and rebellious factions working to seize power and establish a caliphate system that would return the history to thousands of years ago. But the people say its words in achieving its will."

In its statement, the Democratic Union Party PYD stated that "The right decision is just as timely as the seed planted in its season, growing, growing and growing to fruition, and here is our revolution that has grown and started to bear fruit. A democratic autonomous administration in which all components enjoy their freedom and preserve culture and express their free will, women take pioneer role in leading the revolution on the principles of freedom by developing the struggle for women's freedom, which has served as a model for modern Syria. We have before us only to confront the enemies of this model and of peoples, to work to repair our mistakes and to eliminate the remnants of enslaved minds and colonial oppression over centuries."

" July 19th Revolution upset the hostile forces, especially the Turkish occupying state. It has sought to foil democratic nation project and Democratic Autonomous Administration that our great revolution advocated. So Turkish state committed horrible crimes against our people in the occupied areas, such as stealing, rape, abduction in a bid undermine the will of the people and to put out the flame of July 19th Revolution.

The party concluded its statement by saying: "We congratulate our people on the ninth anniversary of the free will revolution, and we pay tribute to tens of thousands of daughters and sons of this people who sacrificed their lives, we call upon our people to beware of the special war waged by the hostile powers targeting their freedom and equality by various means. We affirm that the July 19th Revolution is the revolution of all peoples yearning for freedom, the revolution of the Middle East towards democracy and freedom.
