KNK-Rojava Forum Committee contacts Southern Kurdistan parties

A seven-membered committee was delegated by the forum that was organized by the Kurdistan Nationalist Congress-Rojava held under Via the Nationalist Unity we Will Defeat Occupation and Block Infighting on June 8 in the city of Qamishlo.

The committee is to hold talks with parties in Southern Kurdistan on the dangers posed by the Turkish occupation onslaught and on the necessity to unify all Kurdish stances and political visions as well the nine recommendations made by the forum. 

One of these recommendations is a call to commit to the PDK-PKK 1982 Agreement and to exert efforts to adopt an Intra –Kurdish dialogue and to block the way to infighting.

Member of the Executive Body of the Kurdistan Nationalist Congress and member to the newly formed committee said that meetings are under way by the committee with powers and parties in Southern Kurdistan as preparations are under way to pay a visit to Southern Kurdistan.

The forum was attended by most of Kurdish political parties, civil society associations, tribal notables in Rojava and North eastern Syria except for the Kurdish National Council though invited dully.
