​​​​​​​ Citizens: KNK-ROJAVA Forum is very important to preserve our gains

Today, the Kurdistan National Congress - Rojava is holding a dialogue forum under the slogan (With National Unity, We to Defeat Occupation, and Block Way to Infighting) on ​​the dangers of the Turkish occupation state's attacks, and the need to unite the Kurdish ranks in its face.

The citizens of ad-Darbasiyah district and Kobane city expressed great hopes that the forum being held in Qamishlo city in al-Jazira region can achieve.

Citizen Mohamed Saleh Mohi from ad-Darbasiyah district considered holding the dialogue forum at this time "a good step for the peoples of north and east Syria," and attributed this to "the fact that the region is going through a very sensitive stage due to the Turkish attacks on one hand and the attempt to create strife and fighting among the components of the region on the other hand."

He believed that it would be better for all participants in the forum to strive with all their capabilities to make it work in order to block the way in front of the enemies' schemes. He continued, "We are pinning our hopes on this."

Kurds are in dire need of dialogue

On parties and organizations' getting close to the dialogue forum, Mohi said, "They have to take into account that the Kurdish people's interest is above everything in order to thwart the enemies' schemes since the Kurdish people at this stage are in dire need of such dialogue," appealing to them to work hard for the forum success and work in accordance with the Kurdish people's interest.

Fulfilling the awaited Kurdish dream

Meanwhile, Khalil Osi, a resident from Kobane city called on the various Kurdish parties to meet together in this forum and to achieve the Kurdish people's dream of unity being waited for centuries. He added, "If they do not agree in this forum, they will not agree for another century."

He sent a message to the participants, saying, "Take advantage of this historic opportunity, otherwise history will hold you accountable, and then you will not reach a result. Listen to the people's demands and declare your unity, and we asked you not to depend on anyone, but rather on yourselves."

It is time for unity

The young woman, Hebboun Mohamed who is also a citizen from Kobani city agreed with Khalil Osi that "It is time for unity. It is time for Kurdish unity to be our weapon against our enemies."

She added, "We must block any way through which our enemies try to exploit us, and we hope that they will agree in the Kurdistan National Congress."

Consolidating decisions

In his opinion about the forum, Farhan Mirzo, a resident of ad-Darbasiyah district found the forum "a very blessed and important step as it is an attempt to unify the decisions and opinions of parties, organizations, political entities and cultural unions in north and east Syria."

He called on the participating parties to understand the sensitivity of the stage, and said, "I hope everyone will unite together to remove the obstacles and internal differences among them as a step that will strengthen relations to unite the Kurdish ranks in preparation for the next stage."

Preserving the gains of the July 19^th Revolution

Mirzo pointed out the importance of this forum, saying, "The forum is of great importance in preserving the gains of the July 19^th Revolution which were achieved thanks to the martyrs' blood."

He praised the KNK's role in providing the possibility and opportunity to hold a forum to bring together the Kurdish parties in Rojava, adding, "We support everyone who works for the Kurdish cause, even if they are initiatives of national figures."

Farhan Mirzo called on the participants in the dialogue forum to give priority to the public interest over personal interest, saying, "Concessions must be made and the interest of the people and the Kurdish cause should be placed above personal and partisan interests that constitute an obstacle and a barrier to the Kurdish unity."
