SDF: one tank and trenches of Turkish occupation destroyed in rural Girê Spi

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement in this regard, in which it revealed the outcome of the Turkish attacks and the response of their forces to them, and the statement included:

In the period between June 21 and July 01, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries carried out a series of attacks with heavy weapons targeting a number of villages in Tal Abyad, the M4 road, as well as the vicinity of Ain Issa town.

The villages that have been subjected to Turkish attacks are: Khirbet Baqr, Arida, Bir Zinar, Laqlaqo, Sawan, Mabluja, Zenobia, Slib, Farhouna, Kor Hassan, Qazali silos and the surrounding areas. In addition to that, the villages surrounding the town of Ain Issa and the M4 international road have been under violent attacks with artillery and mortars, in addition to unsuccessful attempts to advance in those areas, which our fighters confronted.

As a result of these attacks, a large number of civilians were wounded, and a civilian named Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Hisher was martyred.

In turn, within the framework of the legitimate right of defense, our fighters confronted the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, and carried out a series of retaliatory operations. As a result, a number of casualties were recorded in the ranks of the occupation and its mercenaries as follows: 8 mercenaries were killed, two thermal surveillance cameras were damaged, two trenches were destroyed, two military vehicles and a tank were destroyed."
