Feminist human rights center condemns mass murder of minor

The Center for Research and Women's Rights Protection in Syria condemned the crime of mass murder against a minor girl, calling to impose the most severe penalties on them.

Activists circulated on Facebook a video showing a minor girl being shot dead by a group of people believed to be her parents.

The Center for Research and Women's Rights Protection in Syria said in a statement issued today, "We condemn and denounce the murder committed against the minor girl (Aida Al-Hamoudi Al-Saeedo) from Al-Zohour neighborhood of Ghweiran, located in Al-Hasakah, all of whose features appear in the video published on social media."

The center called on "the competent security authorities to arrest the perpetrators and convict them in accordance with the law, and impose the most severe penalties against them," and added, "We designate ourselves as personal prosecutors against anyone involved in committing this heinous crime."
