Yazidi Women's Union holds founding conference in Shahba

Under "With the thought of the Democratic Nation, the Yazidi Women in Rojava Would Attain Victory'' the Yazidi Women's Union of Rojava held it's first conference with the presence of 300 Yazidi women from Afrin and Jazira regions.

Souad Hisso, Co-chair of the Yazidi Federation of Afrin region, welcomed the participants and congratulated the holding of the conference of the Yazidi Women's Union to the whole of the Yazidi community around the world, and on the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Souad Hisso touched on the decree experienced by the Yazidi community, especially the women who were subject to the worst forms of violence, and also said: "Thanks to the thought of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, we were able to form ideological forces in which we protect our religion, our women and our children from the extermination."

''Today, after we were able to protect the gains of our revolution and religion and form our unions in Rojava, we will take a new important step on the Yazidi women's level, which is the formation of the Yazidi Women's Council for Rojava during this conference'', she said.

Later, member of the Education Committee of the Democratic Society of Afrin region, Sevin Hisso, read the instructions of the leader Abdullah Ocalan about the need for the Kurdish people to be united and lead the Yazidi women to the revolution.

Both Newroz Ahmed and Aisha Mahmud, administrator in the Afrin Canton Council, and member of the Coordination of Kongra Star of Afrin Canton respectively are to deliver speeches.
